Deruta Ricamo is a brand new and exclusive design inspired by the typical Ricco Deruta, the most famous model of Deruta created in the medieval village of the Umbrian hill in the sixteenth century.
Masterfully hand painted on exclusive dodecagon stoneware slabs created specifically for this wonderful and original design.
The Ricamo Collection is a creation of one of the oldest workshops in Deruta, Fratelli Mari founded by three brothers in 1932 and today managed by the talented grandson Giacomo.Since 1500 Deruta has been the main center in Italy for the production of refined majolica products (hand-painted terracotta in tin and glazed).
All Deruta Ricamo products are made of Italian glazed stoneware cooked at very high temperatures which make them suitable for the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher!
Stoneware products are also highly resistant to chipping and breaking.
